PAGC Board Meeting

June 6, 2024

• Minutes of 5/2 Board meeting presented/approved

• Board changes: Niraj Jain > Secretary, Chris Walker > Handicap Chair

• USGA WHS (World Handicap System) Videos – everyone should watch

  • Trevor helped PAGC pass certification test with 95% score this year

• Audit scheduled for 6/12 with Chris Walker & Niraj Jain

• Finance update from Chris Dierkes

  • 2024 Shortfall projected; need $700 more in membership fees to close gap

  • 2025: To run at current (2024) spending rate, need $25 more/member to cover shortfall of $7700

  • Currently at 342 members

  • Financials available for review on Google Drive

• Comms: Franco Montes

  • Summer newsletter coming on 6/14

  • Will send out poll re TPC Stonebrae

• 2025 Tournaments Update (Doug M)

  • Signed: Jan: Corica Park South, Feb: Blackhorse, April: Metropolitan, May: Presidio; March: San Juan Oaks or TBD; Others: TPC Stonebrae, Poppy Hill

• Handicap update (Chris Walker)

  • 3 exceptional scores in May, 2 hardcaps, 50 softcaps

• Nick Kendall leaving, we will continue our partnership with PGA Superstore

• Pace of Play: TD/Board Member could play in 1st group and track finishing times

  • @Baylands, starter may be available to provide us group start/finish times
