PAGC Board Meeting 12/12/2024

Minutes Attendees: Chuck P, Chris W, Doug M, Franco M, John D, Niraj J (+ Brian Garcia)

• Quorum was met, motion made to start the meeting – seconded/approved.

• Chris W reviewed the 2025 TD assignments – nominally 4 per TD. Finalized formats for away tournaments with the respective TDs.

• Doug working with Niraj on updating bylaws; send copy to those who requested.

• Tournament Fees: Includes additions of $16(home)/$17(away) for prize fund ($12 – unchanged), donation to Junior Golf, and covering cost of TD fees (new for 2025)

• Its really nice to meet and play with different members as we do in the new member event; suggestion to create mixed groups for Annual Meeting ILN event as well.

• Money on Books: down to $10K from $17K a few months earlier! Further discussion on alternatives for limits/spending - $300 cap, 90 day inactivity period, donation of excess funds to First Tee, etc. Patrick will document final proposal and share; once approved, set/communicate policy, allow adequate time for action and private note from Doug to each member who is impacted by the new policy.

• John Driver is our NCGA Ambassador for 2025.

• Discussed candidates for 2026 president, Patrick B would like to take more time, decided tentatively on Niraj Jain – will shadow Doug in 2025. (Doug to also check privately with Chris W if he is interested)

• (Doug) got a nice Thank You letter from Exec Dir of Live in Peace. • Honorary Members: motion to add Ed Barkley and Ross Erickson (pending on check of prior service) – passed unanimously.

• Communications: Thanks to everyone for sending in TOC pics, website updated, suggestion to put John Driver action shot on home page (to replace the one currently there). Got 68% open rate on end of year President’s message. o Next Newsletter (Spring) will be sent out in Q1
